Amy Adams took to pilates to fit into tight pants

Hollywood actress Amy Adams has revealed that she had to undergo pilates, a muscle controlling physical fitness system, to get into her 'tight leather pants' for her role in 'Night At the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian'.

The 34-year-old plays the historic figure Amelia Earhart in the film and was given 'extremely tight leather pants' to wear throughout the movie.

'The pants were like two sizes smaller and I had to do pilates to get into the outfit and look good in it,' she said in a statement released here Friday.

The outfit also became a distraction for her male co-stars in the film.

'Hank (Azaria) would always make it a point to tell me 'nice pants' each time. And I would reply, 'They really hug you from behind. If it works, great, if not, I'm ok with it. But I think it's working,' she said.

Also starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robin Williamson, the film is releasing July 24 in India.
