It's been a global route to success. And life's handing out a fab deal to Deol. The risk taking actor is pleased as punch with his 'Road, Movie' garnering acclaim at the Toronto, Tokyo, Doha and Berlin international film fests.
"I'm playing Vishnu, a man who doesn't want to get into his father's business of selling hair oil," a delighted Deol tells the scribe tribe. "He speeds off in a worn out truck to a far flung destination in the desert and meanwhile discovers that his uncle had been showing films in the outdoors to villagers during his week long drive."
Fresh from the success of 'Dev.D' and 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!' Deol had dashed off to Rajasthan for the filming of 'Road, Movie', but… the soaring Celsius set in great fatigue too. "It was a truly hot summer in the deserts," he bares. "It was hard work and great fun too."
