Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was at a function organised by the Sanga Thamizh Peravai on Sunday. Lot of celebrities from political and film worlds spoke in praise of the chief minister at the function.
Union Minister Jagathratchagan, state Law Minister Duraimurugan, film stars Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Mammootty were among others who offered their felicitations.
Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah were also there at the function.
In his acceptance speech the chief minister said “I for one construe felicitation functions as a call to remind me to put in more effort and strive vigorously for the development of the people.
