No leading ladies in Ajith's next?

After seeing ultimate star Ajith at the Aasal audio launch, speculations are spreading like wild fire about his next movie with ace director Gautham Menon.Now, Ajith's 50th film with Gautham Menon produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri is believed to be a police story too. Ajith has played a cop in Anjaneya, but the film was not too successful, so we hope it's time Ajith tastes success in a thrilling cop story. (Gautham's police stories Kaakka Kaakka with Suriya and Vettayaadu Vilayaadu with Kamal Haasan were huge box office hits.) There are also reports that the film is based on a sensational criminal case in 1980 and Ajith will don the role of the investigating officer. This film will have one more highlight: music by the Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman. The Rahman-Gautham duo has already come together in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, which is slated for a February 26 release. Meanwhile there are also rumours in Kollywood which says that Ajith will have no leading lady in this film. They also add that the venture is an out-and-out action film. But some have a different story to tell; according to them, Aasal heroine Sameera Reddy will again team up with Thala for this venture. So let's now wait for the official confirmation from the man himself.
