Director Sagar is the new president of Film Directors' Association. He has been elected the President after an election process in which many members participated. In fact, he defeated the formidable Tammareddy Bharadwaj, much to the surprise of the industry members.
The election, conducted on February 14, threw up this surprise. Also, G Ramprasad has been elected the Convenor, while Krishnavamsi and Mallikarjuna have been jointly elected for the post of the Vice-President.
Kasi Vishwanath has been elected the Treasurer. SS Rajamouli, VN Aditya, Malli and Prabhu have been elected as members of the Executive Committee.
