A documentary on the late lyricist Gireesh Puthenchery is in the making. Titled as ‘Aakasha Deepangal Sakshi’ this documentary is being directed by Unnikrishnan Marar, a former assistant to Hariharan and Jayaraj.
Planning to be of an hour duration, the documentary will feature reminiscences of the popular lyricist's colleagues from the film trade and sequences from his films songs and family details. Azeez Kadalundi produces this in the banner of the best productions. The documentary's presentation song will be written by Kaithapram and set to music by Dr. C V Renjith. The crew who are in the research phase likes to receive more materials related to Gireesh from his colleagues and friends.
