This week Viewsonic pulled the VMP75 streaming media player from the shadows. The device is much like other streaming media players on the market and supporting online video services like Netflix, YouTube, and more.
The VMP75 supports 1080p resolution streaming and lets the user connect to social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook. Users can connect flash drives and external hard drives as well as eSATA devices directly to the VMP75 for playing home movies and other content.
Internet connectivity is offered via Ethernet port or an optional WiFi adapter. Connectivity on the VMP75 includes HDMI, Composite, S/PDIF, USB and eSATA. The optional WiFi adapter supports 802.11b/g/n. The MSRP for the media player is $149.99 and it can be pre-ordered now on Amazon or Newegg.
