Hodgson wants Crouch back at Anfield

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is keen on bringing Peter Crouch back to Anfield, according to The Inderpendent.
Football News: Peter CrouchThe former Fulham manager has been a long-time admirer of the lanky striker and had plans to bring him to Craven Cottage before being beaten to his signature by Tottenham Hotspur.
But the 62-year-old could finally fulfill his wish now that he is in charge of Liverpool.

The England substitute at the 2010 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ was a crowd favourite at Anfield and would be warmly welcomed back by the Kop.
However, his return would not soften the blow if star striker Fernando Torres leaves for Chelsea.
If Crouch does return, he could form a new-look Liverpool strike force with £8 million-rated David Trezeguet next season.
