Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai is the new serial by Bala Ji Productions. This serial is directed by Ekta Kapoor. The story moves around the lives of three sister Kanchan, Shamoli and Kakon who live in Siliguri , a small town in West Bengal. They are living a very hard life as a daily laborer in Tea Plantation Company for their livelihood. One day they plan to move to Mumbai to fulfill their dreams. The story of this serial revolves around the experience and incidents they face while living in Mumbai to follow their dreams. Shamoli is the central character of the serial who believes that everyone has the right to have good life. Sumana Das play the character of Shamoi.
