Bollywood smart act Boman Irani, has been named the brand ambassador of NGO Ahead which works for the welfare of physically challenged people, the actor raised funds for the NGO by doing a theatre performance last Sunday.The play called 'The Melody of Love' was held at Manik Sabhagriha, Bandra in Mumbai. Well known theatre personalities like Tom Alter, Lillette Dubey, with popular radio jockey Mantra are in the play which is helmed by actor-director Divya Arora, who is in wheelchair due to cerebral palsy since birth.
Versatile actor Boman says he completely supports the idea of theatre for a cause, “Today the audience has become very progressive, they enjoy theatre equally as compared to cinema. In fact, theatre is not only entertaining but also educative. People feel that my voice is inspiring and reaches the audience. That gives me the boost to come forward for such good deeds,” said the actor, who has prior experience in theatre as well
