 Buzz is that, Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan will earn a special honour in form of wax… Ahem don’t get us wrong… We meant to say that King Khan’s life size wax figure will be placed at the famous Madame Tussauds of Times Square. For this, a special event is to be held in New York on Thursday, in a typical Bollywood style with dance performances. It is reported that the dance team will perform to the soundtrack from SRK starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’, one of the highest-grossing Bollywood film released in the US. This will simultaneously take place while Khan's figure is being unveiled along with the DVD release of the film. Presented by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, the DVD will be launched on India's Independence Day and showcases the changing face of Bollywood, the charming on-screen relationship of Shah Rukh and Kajol, behind-the-scenes footages about the story, music from the film and other related things. At Madame Tussauds, SRK’s wax model is said to be dressed in a sleek black suit and white button down shirt and it will be placed in front of a replica of the Taj Mahal. The icon is reported to be the latest addition to the wax museum brightly-coloured, fully-interactive Bollywood Zone, which allows guests to feel as though they are on a Bollywood film set. |
