Game of Thrones: Which Finale Scene Was Actually from the End of Book 2?

If you can't tell from the title, there are minor spoilers for the second season in this article.

Game of Thrones, as magnificent of a show as it is, has rarely been one to deviate from the source material. Sure, there are scenes thrown in for exposition, but nothing's been drastically altered. Well, until now. Sunday night's season finale of the series, "Fire and Blood," featured one big change from the source material. The scene in question did appear in the books, but the wrong book.

I'm talking about the short dialogue between Jaime Lannister and Catelyn Stark. You know, the one in which she hit him across the face with the rock and he offered to have sex with her? (He also might have let slip that he tried to kill her son, Bran.) That scene, in the books, actually happened at the end of A Clash of Kings.

Of course, there are some differences. The stuff plot specific to book two was left out of the scene in the series, and in the book, Jaime didn't hesitate to reveal to Catelyn that Bran had seen him with Cersei. He was also a good deal drunker (Cersei supplied him with a skin of cheap wine).

That was Jaime's only real significant scene in the second book, and it happened toward the end. The show's producers have assured us that he'll be having a more expanded role in season two, just so they can keep Nikolaj Coster-Waldau around. I'm interested to see how this plays out, though it was great to see this scene happen in the first season finale as opposed to having to wait a year to see it in the second.
