The Voice Judge Blake Shelton Notches First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200

It looks like The Voice is proving to be more than just a shot in the arm for NBC, as another judge has reaped the rewards from their involvement in the talent competition.
Billboard is reporting that the latest album Red River Blue  from The Voice judge Blake Shelton has sold 116,000 units to debut at number 1 on the all-genre encompassing Billboard 200. Hot on the heels of multi-week number 1 country single "Honey Bee"Red River Blue, the country veteran's sixth studio album and first to reach number 1 on the Billboard 200, gives Shelton the highest sales week of his career.
It's not the first bit of evidence that The Voice has helped the careers of its judges, as the collaborative single"Moves Like Jagger" with Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera recently went top 10 and has a music video coming soon. Additionally, recent albums from Aguilera, Shelton, Maroon 5 (with frontman Adam Levine), and Cee-Lo Green have seen noticeable sales bumps since the show debuted in April.
Shelton completed his first season on NBC's monster hit The Voice earlier this summer, with one of his team members (Dia Frampton) finishing 2nd. The show is set to return in early 2012, while the second single from Red River Blue entitled "God Gave Me You" goes to radio later this month.
What do you think of Blake's new album? Did his appearances on The Voice make you a fan? Which Voicejudge should release new material next?
