Venkat Prabhu teams up with Simbu?

As Goa is running successfully in theatres, director Venkat Prabhu is now ready to move on. Earlier, there were reports that the director is joining hands with Amma Creations for his next flick. But the latest buzz is that Venkat Prabhu will team up with Simbu for his next flick to be produced by Lingusamy. Reports suggest that beautiful Tamannaah has been signed to play the heroine.

This show  is  a come back serial for  Iqbal Khan, one of the popular male actors of Indian Television .  He would be  facing small screen after the gap of two years. The story is about the character of  Rudra which is  played by Iqbal khan, This character is based on the character of Devdas who falls for Pihu (Aditi Gupta). The second female lead is Gauri ( Binny Sharma), the character based on Chandramukhi who enters his life at a later stage. . Aruna Irani is also part of this serial she would be  essaying the role of grandmother of Rudra( Iqbal Khan) . Sudha Chandran  is acting as grandmother of Gauri( Binny Sharma). Movies based on the story of Devdas has always been hit. It would be interesting to watch if the serial is able to generate the same interest  among the viewers.
