The fifth in the series of ‘Belli Hejje’ by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy on every second Saturday of the month will be have a face to face chat with one of the top south Indian actress Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi on 13th of March at 4.30 pm at Priyadarshini Hall in Badami House in Bangalore.
The photo exhibition of actress Jayanthi is also part of this ‘Belli Hejje’. The Karnataka Information Department is organizing the rare photo exhibition of the actress.
Actress Jayanthi (original name Kamalakumari) who has played heroine to almost all the veteran heroes of South Indian cinema made debut in ‘Jenu Goodu’ in Kannada and went on to act in over 400 films in her career spanning four and half decades. With Dr Rajakumar alone she did 36 films.
Known for her straight forward approach Jayanthi will go down the memory lane on this Saturday at ‘Belli Hejje’. In the past Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar, Dwarakish, Dr B Saroja Devi and director Siddalingaiah were guests at this ‘Belli Hejje’.
