One of the greatest pairs in the history of Malayalam cinema, superstar Mohanlal and talented Sreenivasan are back again, sharing screen space in actor Manian Pillai Raju's latest production venture Oru Naal Varum. The duo is coming together nearly four years after their last smash hit Udayananu Tharam. Being directed by Rajeev Kumar, Oru Naal Varum has started rolling recently. Scripted by Sreenivasan, the film has Mohanlal playing the role of a village farmer who comes to Thiruvananthapuram selling everything in his village for his children's higher education. He buys a plot of land and wants to build a house in the city. After drawing the plan of his new house, he submits it to the Town Planning officer (Sreenivasan) at the Corporation office. His trouble begins from then on. Also in the cast are Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Nedumudi Venu and Tamil actress Devayani. Manoj Pillai is the cameraman. The film will be completed in one schedule in and around Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari. The film will be released on May 21, Mohanlal's 50th birthday.
