Gianluigi Buffon's agent has curbed claims that Juventus plan to offload the Italian goalkeeper after sustaining a back injury.
The Juventus custodian may be out for several months after reports claiming Buffon could require surgery to fix his spinal disc hernation problem.
However, Silvano Martina is confident the Turin club will assure his client of his future despite the club making plans to sign Marco Storari on a three-year-deal from Milan as a possible replacement for Buffon.
"There is not much to say, Buffon is obviously not pleased with what is happening," the agent told Calcionews24.com.
"However, injuries happen in football. There is no need to worry, Juventus will continue to trust him."
According to reports by Sky Sport Italia, the veteran Italian stopper will not travel to Nelspruit with the Italy squad for their second group match against New Zealand.
