CDMA Android lovers, prepare your credit cards. Motorola’s marvellous DROID X smartphone – which wereviewed last week and gave a pretty much glowing report – has gone up for sale on Verizon Wireless’ site. $199.99 gets you a 4.3-inch touchscreen, slender body, 8-megapixel camera and Android 2.1 with the latest iteration of MOTOBLUR.
It also gets you a two-year agreement, of course, complete with voice and data plans. Still, the DROID X is probably worth it; it’s one of the fastest Android devices we’ve seen, and when it gets the promised Android 2.2 Froyo update later in the year it should be even faster.
