Glee Season 3: Cast Graduation Spoilers & New Writing Staff

Recently, Glee producer Ryan Murphy appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show to discuss what will happen to the current cast after season 3 of Glee.
Cast Spoilers
A few months ago, we heard that the plan is that most of the regular cast would be graduating from highschool in season 3 and leaving the show.  Murphy confirmed that characters like Rachel, Finn, Quinn and Puck will be entering their senior year in season 3 and will be graduating at the end of it.  "We didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years," Murphy said. "We really wanted  to be true to that experience."
How to deal with the loss of so many characters?  Last season Chord Overstreet joined the cast as Sam, who is playing a character younger than most of the other regular cast members.  Darren Criss also joined as Blaine.  Murphy plans to continue to introduce new and younger students over the course of season 3.  Except to see new faces introduced both in the fall and around midseason.  Only one of the new cast members will be coming from The Glee Project, which is currently airing on Oxygen, and will appear in seven episodes, as well as joining the live tour next summer.
What about Jane Lynch's Sue and Matt Morrison's Will?  Well, Murphy wants to keep them around, actually, and have them act as "the male and female lynchpins of the series".
New Writing Staff
In my last Glee spoiler article (read it here), I indicated that a lot of my problems with season 2 of the show stem from the inconsistency in character behavior and episode inconsistency.  Well, the good news is that Glee has finally decided to hire a real writing staff, which I think might help address these problems.
The new writers are:
  • Allison Adler, Chuck No Ordinary Family (will also serve as co-executive producer)
  • Marti Noxon, Buffy: The Vampire SlayerAngel, Mad Men & Grey's Anatomy(will also serve as consulting producer)
  • Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Big Love (will also serve as co-producer)
  • Michael Hitchcock, United States of Tara (will also serve as consulting producer)
  • Matt Hodgson, Glee script coordinator (will serve as staff writer)
  • Ross Maxwell, Running in Traffic actor (will serve as staff writer)
Glee will be making an appearance at San Diego Comic Con at the end of July, although exactly which cast members will be coming hasn't yet been confirmed.  Season 3 of Glee will begin in the fall.
