According to various sources, but first reported by StraightFromTheA.com, there's a new Housewife in Atlanta, who could either steal the show next season or wreck its foundation to the core with the Louis Vuitton designed baggage of drama she's bringing.
Tampa, Florida native Marlo Hampton has been seen shooting extensively around Atlanta with current RHOA cast members Sheree Whitfield, Phaedra Parks, and Cyntha Banks. Hampton is the fiancée of NFL football player Charles Grant, who last played for the Chicago Bears, but was a Georgia Bulldog during his collegiate career.
Grant is also known as NeNe Leakes's alleged secret lover who Kim Zolciak brought to light on the infamous aftershow of Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live! back during RHOA's second season. The confrontation got tongues wagging and people suggesting that the alleged tryst between the reality star and football player was a factor or precursor to NeNe's marriage troubles with husband Gregg Leakes, which we saw during the show's third season.

It seems as if Cohen and company are following the same formula recently used with The Real Housewives of New Jersey regarding Teresa Giudice's family issues, which was revealed by departing RHONJ Housewife Danielle Staub. After the cat was out of the bag, Melissa Gorga (Teresa's nemesis/sister-in-law) and Kathy Wakile (Teresa's cousin/nemesis) were added as the newest Housewives on the show. Now, Cohen might have taken a second gander at that Kim vs. NeNe phone call from way back when and pressed "Repeat" on his drama cycle to produce results for the upcoming season of RHOA. While the process might have 'worked' for RHONJ in terms of never-ending drama, could Andy be on the verge of opening up a Pandora's Box with the casting of Hampton?
Straight From The A (and other websites) obtained SEVEN mugshot photos of Hampton taken between 1999-2003, three of them were taken as she was charged with aggravated battery and possession of a firearm. And she's smiling in two of them!
While current pictures of Hampton suggest that she enrolled herself in a charm school somewhere, that doesn't mean her inner bad girl was put to rest, but it might be on a dainty little closet shelf ready for use at the proper moment. While no reports have erupted about a big brawl involving Hampton and any of the other Real Housewives of Atlanta has been mentioned, the clock is still ticking and there is ample time for something to pop off between now and when the show returns this fall.
