90210 will be losing and gaining some characters in season 4 of The CW show. In early June, we reported that Trevor Donovan (Teddy) will not be a regular in the fourth season, but will only appear in five episodes as a recurring guest star.
Now news is trickling in that several other recurring guest stars will appear next season.
Drew Seeley posted on
his website: Soooooo, looks like I’ll be joining the cast of 90210 for the first few episodes of Season 4! Oh yeah. Will post more info and pics soon. Tell everyone you know to WATCH, cause there’ll be some drama for you AND your momma!!" Drew is a songwriter, singer and actor who has appeared on
One Tree Hill and
Glory Daze. There's no word yet on exactly who he will play.
TV Line recently reported that actor
Justin Deeley will be playing the new recurring character of Austin, who is a potential new love interest for Naomi. Which is a very interesting turn, since she told her boyfriend Max that she was pregnant in the season 3 finale. Max was all set to head to the east coast for school when Naomi dropped the bomb. Will he leave his baby mamma back in LA? Or was the whole pregnancy thing a lie? Austin, meanwhile, is the son of a very wealthy country singer.
CSI: Miami‘s
Megalyn Echikunwoke has been cast as Naomi's new college nemesis, Holly. As the head of CU's best sorority, Holly likes to flaunt her wealth and she and Naomi definitely won't be getting along as they're both alpha females.
Finally,
THR reported that
Privileged actress
Kristina Apgar has booked a recurring role as Jane, a new love interest for Matt Lanter's Liam. Jane will be a 21 year old widow who married very young.
90210's fourth season will premiere on The CW on September 13.
