On Sunday's Big Brother, Shelly's fence-riding between both factions of the house finally caught up to her, which resulted in a huge target being placed on her back. Tonight's episode of Big Brother, however, showed how Shelly's antics are actually more tolerable than others.
After the Nominations Ceremony, Shelly spoke with Daniele about trying to backdoor Brendon, but Daniele stated in the Diary Room how Shelly going home wouldn't phase her one bit. Has Shelly spun her last lie with the Houseguests? Nope.
Later, Jordan, Rachel and Jeff went to one of the bedrooms and was followed by Shelly, who decided this would be the perfect time to bring up what was "really" said about a Final Three deal with Brendon and Rachel. With most of the Houseguests (sans Adam and Daniele) in the room, Shelly tried to call Rachel out on her "lie," but failed miserably and landed in her own trap. This is what is 'confusing' me. Does Shelly truly believe that she didn't try to make that deal with Rachel and Brendon? Granted, Shelly asked the couple if they would consider taking her to final three, but the fact that the conversation even took place is damning enough in the eyes of the House Guests, especially after Shelly is known for playing both sides of the fence.
Luckily for Shelly, Jeff didn't believe anything Rachel said about Shelly going rogue on him and Jordan, but Shelly vowed vengeance on Brenchal for making her out to be a liar.
Next, the Big Brother house picked players for the Veto Competition and the only two people not playing being Brendon and Rachel, which had Daniele and Shelly tickled pink. The competition was country-themed and involved the participants tossing beanbags into a hole to score points. When a person was eliminated from the competition, a bucket would be waiting for them to pick a prize out of. In one of those prize buckets was the Power of Veto. The downside to this was whoever dropped out next had the choice of either keeping their prize or taking the one you selected.
Instead of me telling you who scored what, I'm just going to list who won what and who swiped what. Shelly was eliminated first and her prize bucket contained (Shock of Shocks!) the Power of Veto! Of course she didn't keep it for long. Jordan was eliminated next and received Solitary Confinement with a phone call from home. Jordan almost kept the prize but realized that Shelly hadn't had a chance to hear from her family, so Jordan demanded that Shelly get the call home and took the Veto instead.
Meanwhile, Adam told Jeff tha he really needed the Veto, which brought Jeff to wonder if he should throw the competition. As always, paranoia kicked in and Jeff whispered to Daniele if he was in the clear. Daniele said yes and that Brendon was the target, easing Jeff's nerves. Now back to the competition, Kalia was the next to be eliminated and she won a Caribbean cruise. Daniele lost next and received a Veto Ticket, which guaranteed her a spot in next week's Veto competition. Finally, Jeff was last to be eliminated and he got $5000 for his problems. So that left Adam as the winner of the competition, but his prize was a "humilitard," which had to be worn for a week. We know Adam wasn't about to get into another costume or pass up a chance to not grab the Veto, so Jordan ended up with the costume and Adam bought himself a ticket off the block.
Afterwards, Daniele and Jeff discussed who the replacement nominee should be and Daniele was still stuckon getting Brendon out. Jeff proposed Rachel instead, but Daniele thought it would be stupid to let Brendon stay in the game after he had already been eliminated. Plus, she added that Rachel's game would be totally off without Brendon in the house, which is true. Jeff making a (subtle) move against Brendon and Rachel was inevitable, especially since Brenchal has already started gunning for J/J to leave.
A little later, Shelly entered solitary confinement, while Jordan went to collect her outfit, which was ridiculous. During the confinement, Shelly received her call from home and to be truthfully honest, I do not want to say anything mean about Shelly's little moment, because it was a bit touching if you ask me.
Towards the end of the episode, Brendon and Rachel approached Daniele to see where her mind was with a replacement nominee and if they were still in the clear. When Daniele tried to play dumb, Rachel came out and asked Daniele if she had a deal with Jeff. Daniele played dumb with this question as well. Will Daniele keep her word with Rachel and Brendon? Nope.
As predicted, Adam removed himself from the chopping block and Daniele promptly chose Brendon to take a seat alongside Shelly. So, in one corner you have Shelly, who is a double agent in the house, recently had her trust rocked with Jordan and Jeff, as well as a majority of the house. On the other hand, you have Brendon, who is strong mentally and physically and will be even more powerful by Rachel's side. So which of "the lesser of two evils" do you want to exit the
Big Brother house tomorrow night?
