The iPad is a very expensive product. And if you want to make it user live longer, you need to take good care of it similar to what you will do for all other electronic devices like the Smartphone. Contrary to popular notion, the iPad’s battery may get drained when you try to charge it from a PC. The iPad, for one, has an internal rechargeable battery. You cannot access it (unlike what you can do with some Nokia phones) and it can only be extracted by the Apple Authorized Service Provider.

If your iPad becomes ‘frozen’ and will not respond, you need to ‘force restart’ it. But to clear any bouts of anxiety, this will not result in loss of data. Of course, this exempts the case in which you are currently working on an unsaved file.

To solve the problem, click and hold down the Sleep/Wake button. While doing this, hold down the Home button as well. Do the procedure until the tablet turns off. It will then restart and the screen will show the silver Apple image once more.

• If you can help it, always run the latest version of iTunes on your iPad. 
• To protect it from force and pressure, always keep the gadget in its case at all times.

• Jailbreaking your iPad entails some risks- especially in terms of security. Not to mention, it can also forfeit your ability to run software updates. It can also default your warranty.
• Buy a protective screen for your iPad. This will act as a shield to keep the panel clean and free of fingerprints. So that when you have to sell your electronics, you can still get a lot from it.
