Supernatural's Jared Padalecki Joins Twitter; Fandom is Happy

It took six years of Supernatural being on the air before one of its two main stars finally joined the Twitter world.  Today, Jared Padalecki (who plays Sam Winchester on the CW show) confirmed that he's finally gotten himself a Twitter account: @jarpad.
The fangirls are, of course, thrilled.
While Twitter hasn't officially confirmed the account, The CW's Supernatural Twitter account (@CW_Supernatural) confirmed Padalecki's account.  He also announced it at this week's Supernatural convention in Nashville.  After about 24 hours, Padalecki has managed to gather over 42,000 followers.  He was also trending on several Twitter top topics for a while today.  Chances are he'll soon be fighting for Twitter supremacy with co-star Misha Collins.
Padalecki isn't the only Supernatural actor to have a Twitter account.  Here's a few more:
