Last evening, the whole of Bollywood was shocked by news which no one knew whether to believe or not. The news was that Shiney Ahuja, the lead star of films like Gangster, Hazaron Khwaishen Aisi and Woh Lamhe was accused of raping his maid servant and that the latter had filed a complaint against him at Mumbai's Andheri police station. The domestic help accused the actor of rape, when both of them were alone at the latter's flat. She also added that she was employed at Shiney's home since the past 45 days, and that the incident happened when Shiney's wife and child had gone out. No sooner the complaint was registered at the Oshiwara police station, the police reached Shiney's flat immediately, where he was partying with his friends. The police charged him under Section 376 of the IPC, which resulted in Shiney spending his Sunday night in the lock up.

Talking about magazines, Sonam recently was at the dream city of Abu Dhabi, along with the super-ace fotog Atul Kasbekar (who also happens to be the suave CEO of 'Bling! Entertainment Solutions Pvt.Ltd'). For starters, Atul's Bling! Handles endorsement deals for a lot of well known celebrities. Both of them had gone there to shoot for the cover of a leading magazine called Harpers Bazaar. And no prize for guessing who the cover-girl was supposed to be! Atul Kasbeka

Being a vegan can have its advantages, just recently actor Shahid Kapur has been voted the Sexiest Vegetarian in Asia, in the poll conducted by PETA. The poll was conducted by PETA in their Asia Pacific portal and the battle for the top slot carried on for a month. The final results were announced on 10 June, 2009. Shahid shares this honour with Hollywood star Natalie Portman, who was awarded the sexiest vegetarian in the USA region. "It feels great to be voted the Sexiest Vegetarian in Asia. I have always supported the cause of being a vegetarian and it's nice to be felicitated for something so close to my heart. Being voted as sexy is a matter of perception but being vegetarian is a lifestyle change and something that comes from a sense of responsibility. This poll win also goes to break the myth that fitness cannot be achieved by eating vegetarian food," said Kapur.
