Chuck 4.24 "Chuck vs the Cliffhanger" Recap

Image
Before we plunge into the season finale of Chuck, make sure you're caught up by reading last week's recap. The finale begins five days ago. Chuck and Sarah start freaking out a week before their wedding. Sarah is worried about sharing her intimate feelings in front of a crowd. What about a dry run, Chuck suggests. They'll be ready for anything if they practice before hand. Smash cut to the ER. Ellie and Devon place Sarah in an ice bath to slow down her heart rate and any possible tissue damage caused by the Norseman. They need to find the antidote for whatever radioactive "poison" was used on her. Sarah rouses and says Chuck looks worried. "Don't freak out, because we're ready for anything," she tells Chuck before falling back asleep. Chuck tells her that he will fix this, and that they will be together.

Tonight On Glee: 2.21 "Funeral"

We are getting closer and closer to Nationals and now the Glee club counts with a bit of an extra help. Former rival of the club, Jesse St. James has returned to town and will be helping the Glee kids with their performances for the highly anticipated competition in New York City in the upcoming finale. Last week, we saw the club get ready to go to prom as the race for prom king and queen got even more intense. In the end, Karofsky was voted Prom King and Kurt was humiliated when the school elected him as Prom Queen. He shook it off, though, and accepted his new title proudly. Meanwhile, Jesse got back in town and took Rachel to the prom and Artie tried to win back Brittany's affections. She had dumped him after he called her stupid, but he was trying his very best to get her back. Tonight's episode "Funeral", as the title implies, will have to do with death. The Grim Reaper has been visiting several shows in these past couple of weeks and Glee did not manage to c

ABC Announces 2011-2012 Fall Schedule

It's that sad and depressing time of the year again for television fans. A lot of shows have aired their season finale in the past couple of weeks and a lot more will conclude their seasons until the end of the month. If you are like me, you are probably feeling a little lost as to what to do with your free time now that most of your shows are gone. To make you feel a little bit better, ABC has released their schedule for the Fall, so while you may not be entirely happy that your show is gone for the summer, at least you now know when it is going to air. The Alphabet Network has picked up thirteen new shows and slayed a good number too. Mysteriously absent from the list is Cougar Town, that seems to have been bumped to mid-season, much to the dismay of fans. Tonight on The Good Wife: 2.23 "Closing Arguments"

Image
So here it is, the season 2 finale of The Good Wife which looks set to wrap up this strong year on another high as the team at Lockhart/Gardner defend a possible judge killer. This is the case that closed last weeks episode which showed that Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) would be staying at the firm despite the collapse of her relationship with Alicia (Julianna Margulies). The confrontation between Kalinda and Alicia really highlighted that it is the dissolution of this relationship rather than the Florrick marriage that is the most heartbreaking, as we have always known the the marriage was on shakey ground and we have watched the Alicia/Kalinda friendship grow to the close one that existed prior to the big reveal. The fact that Kalinda doesn't let any one get close to her emotionally and because Alicia lost most of friends due to the scandal was another reason as to why their bond meant so much, and why now their fractured friendship matters more to the audience. Dancing with the Stars Season 12: Semifinals Power Rankings

Image
The Dancing with the Stars Semifinals are over and Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas are in the lead with 73, thanks to a bonus of 15 points from the winner take all cha cha. Fans are crying foul, as Ralph Macchio danced well but was scored abominably by the judges. Ralph is at the bottom with 48. Only power voting can save Ralph now, and we knew this already. The judges were ridiculous tonight; therefore, I am disbanding with their comments in favor of my own. Let’s start with some fun before we get to the dances. Some of the more interesting moments in the video packages: Maks finally broke Kirstie: I didn’t think she could be broken, but he did it, getting her so frustrated she actually cried. Mark wanted Chelsea to get pissed to enhance her tango, but ended up getting pissed at her. I wonder if he ever spoke to Bristol that way? Karina urged Ralph to wear butt padding for their salsa, and it looked like they both wore it. Hines’ rehearsal package showed the moment when Kym was

How I Met Your Mother 6.24 "Challenge Accepted" Review

Image
To be truthful, it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to say about last night’s How I Met Your Mother. While the episode definitely had it’s high points and set things in motion for the next two seasons, I was left with some mediocre feelings. It was alright, but was by no means a favorite of mine. Maybe it was the Zoey of it all? However, in this, the season finale of season 6 entitled “Challenge Accepted” we finally find out whose wedding it is where Ted meets the one. As many fans, reporters and bloggers alike speculated, the wedding is Barney’s. So now the question, in addition to who's the mother, becomes who’s his bride? With the reappearance of Nora during tonight’s finale, could it be her? He did make a declaration of ‘Challenge Accepted.’ Or could it be Robin? There were many words and looks thrown around between Robin and Barney tonight leading me to believe (and HOPE) that she just might be the bride. The subtext in their conversations about Ted and Zo
