Anushka - A better starter than Kareena, Katrina and Deepika?

EROS Intl. to produce Rajnikanth’s next film

Eros International and Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios have joined hands to co-produce Rajinikanth’s next film ‘RANA’ to be directed by K. S. Ravikumar’. Rajini’s international star value has gone up phenomenally after the magnificent success of ‘Robot’. Scheduled to go on floor in March this year, ‘Rana’ will be a live action magnum opus with Rajini playing triple role and will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. On the technical side the ‘Robot’ team is almost retained in full. Music would by A R Rahman, Cinematography by Ratnavelu, Editing by Antony and Art direction by Rajeevan. The technical & special effects director will be Soundarya Rajnikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios, renowned visual effects luminary and an Emmy award winner will be the visual effects supervisor on the film.  The film is scheduled to release in first half of 2012. Sun Network releases 'ROBO' figures

The guessing game has come to an end. Sun Network Group, the producers of Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'ROBO' announced that they earned revenues of Rs 179 crore from the film. A release announcing the quarterly financial results of Sun Network Group said: 'During this quarter, the Company released a blockbuster movie simultaneously in three languages titled ‘Endhiran’ in Tamil and ‘Robot’ in Telugu and Hindi.' 'The Company earned revenues of Rs.179 crores, including Rs.15 crores expected towards satellite rights which has not been included in the revenues in this quarter. The Company has spent Rs.132 crores on the production of this blockbuster.
