Madholal - Keep Walking Music Review

Image
EXPECTATIONS Nope, there aren't any expectations that one carries from the music of Madholal Keep Walking . Belonging to art house cinema, neither is this film a musical by any means nor has music being projected as any of the highlights here. Also, it doesn't even have music as a talking point in the bare minimum promotion which is happening around it. No wonder, one barely manages to play on this album which has music by Nayab Raja with Saani Aslam as the lyricist.

Soch Lo Music Review

EXPECTATIONS One doesn't quite know what to look forward to in Soch Lo . Looking at an unconventional poster design though (a bare chest man staring at a distance in a desert); you do get an idea that there would be something surreal in the offing. However, to what extent is something that you get to know only after playing on the album which has compositions by Nitish Pires, Charu Moohan and Mehboob.

Hello Darling Movie Review

Comedy is serious business and I genuinely believe that making people laugh is an arduous task. The best of film-makers, with years/decades of experience behind them, have tried attempting laughathons time and again. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they don't. HELLO DARLING also tries to tickle your funny bone, but in vain.

Antardwand Movie Review

Image
Jog your memory and recall films highlighting the nuisance called dowry. Images of a number of movies would instantly conjure up in front of your eyes. Now think of groom kidnapping. Have you heard of it or 'Pakrauah Shaadi' [that's how it is referred to in North India]? I had vaguely heard of it once, but was clueless about the reasons that prompt people to kidnap eligible bachelors. ANTARDWAND not only spells out the reasons, but also tackles the issue with rare understanding.

Aashayein Movie Review

Image
Practically every new-age film-maker wants to attempt a real story on celluloid. Stories which are straight out of life/newspapers/news channels. These stories, generally, strike a chord with the ticket buying audience if narrated convincingly and most importantly, narrated within commercial parameters.

Dish TV crosses 8 mn subscribers, scales up growth forecast

Image
Dish TV has scaled up its growth forecast for the fiscal as it mops up 1.1 million subscribers since 1 April, gaining from an improved economy and a stronger demand for DTH service in a sports-heavy year. Dish TV has crossed eight million subscribers and hopes to end the financial year closer to the 10-million mark, retaining its market leadership position by some distance. The direct-to-home (DTH) operator is targeting three million subscribers during the full-fiscal period, up from its original forecast of acquiring 2.5 million customers. “We have scaled up our customer acquisition target from 2.5 million to three million in FY’11. We have had a very good start, adding 1.1 million subscribers, due to our better distribution in the market. Customers have also liked our content packages and pricing,” says Dish TV COO Salil Kapoor. The DTH sector has gathered 2.5 million subscribers during the first three months of the fiscal, much in line with the forecast of adding 11 million

Priyanka Chopra- Khatron Ke Khiladi Stunts

Image
Priyanka Chopra has promised that the new season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi would be three times more dangerous than the danger level itself. The shoots of this show are taking place in Brazil. Quite amazingly even the promos are more dangerous than the earlier promos. Priyanka playing with snakes and bulls can generate unrelenting rivalry between the hunks who will participate in the show. Although, the actress never got opportunity to show her physical stamina and strength on big screen but the small screen is providing her ample opportunity for that.
