HTC Amaze 4G Leaks Again for T-Mobile

Image
More details and pictures have emerged today regarding the recently rumored HTC Ruby. It seems T-Mobile is gearing up to launch another powerhouse smartphone soon, wasting no time through this AT&T merger situation. We have new never before seen images as well as confirmation on a few of the specs we can expect to see come launch. This is the HTC Ruby (codename) and should be landing on T-Mobile as the HTC Amaze 4G according to latest details. These images while they may be a bit blurry, show us more than anything we’ve seen thus far. We’ll take what we can get right? This will be the fastest phone launched to date by HTC packing a speedy 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU and 1GB of ram. Other specs include a 4.3″ qHD 540 x 960 resolution display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and should include Sense UI 3.5 although most T-Mobile HTC phones have only small bits of the Sense UI present. The images suggest that will likely be the same with the Amaze 4G because we barely see HTC Sense UI here, that or

Bol Hindi Movie Review

Shoaib Mansoor is one of the brightest names to come out of Pakistan. A few years ago, his film KHUDA KAY LIYE, which tackled the theme of terrorism, won wide acclaim and praise. The supremely talented storyteller is back with another bold and hard-hitting effort called BOL, which unmasks the dual standards prevalent in the society. In fact, we make tall claims about the rights of women and how they are equal to men, but if one looks around, especially in the under-developed countries, the disparity and inequality is for all to see. Shoaib is indeed a courageous storyteller and this film must have sparked off a debate when it released in Pakistan several weeks ago. Like KHUDA KAY LIYE, BOL addresses the religious extremism in the neighboring country. It's about a daughter who stands up against her father, but most importantly, she dares to defy the age-old societal norms that treat women as lesser beings. The fact that a Pakistani film-maker has had the courage to tackle this them

Speedy Singhs Hindi Music Review

Image
EXPECTATIONS Till the time this Akshay Kumar production was known just as  Breakaway , there wasn't much clarity around how the music would shape up for this Indo-Canadian film. However the moment it was re-titled as  Speedy Singhs  for the 'desi' audience, it was clear that the film would have an out and out Punjabi feel to it, something that would be reflected in the music as well. Also, though this isn't a quintessential Bollywood film in the offing, since Sandeep Chowta comes in as a composer here, you look forward to how the music has eventually shaped up for this fun sports-based romantic entertainer. MUSIC It's time to revisit the funky sound of  Singh Is Kinng that had rocked the nation a few years ago with Akshay Kumar pairing up with Snoop Dogg. This time around it is Ludacris who pairs up with Akshay and the results are sensational all over again with ' Shera Di Khom ' turning out to be highly addictive track. With emphasis yet again on Punjabi

Hum Tum Shabana Hindi Music Review

Image
EXPECTATIONS On a regular day one may have decent to good expectations from the music of  Hum Tum Shabana , a relatively mid-budget film with Tusshar Kapoor, Minissha Lamba and Shreyas Talpade in the lead. However the moment you realise that the music is composed by the duo of Sachin-Jigar, expectations take an altogether different proportion. After all these are the whiz-kids who have delivered a super-hit soundtrack in  F.A.L.T.U.  earlier this year and an underrated score in  Teree Sang  earlier which unfortunately went unnoticed. However with a much better standing that they enjoy today and Sameer as their lyricist, Sachin-Jigar promise a rollicking ride with young, colorful and vibrant  Hum Tum Shabana . MUSIC A few months back it was ' Chaar Baj Gaye Par Party Abhi Baaki Hai ' and now it's time to continue the party all night long with ' Musik Bandh Na Karo '. Yet again, this one too turns out to be an addictive outing with the rhythm and beat ensuring that
