Akshay Kumar may be playing 'God' in his forthcoming home production  OMG Oh My God!  but that hasn't stopped him from seeking divine intervention. While shooting for the sequel of  Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai recently in Muscat, Akshay took out time from his busy schedule and visited a popular mosque. The actor made it a point to not just seek blessings of the Almighty for his forthcoming film but also prayed for the well-being of his soon to be born second child. OMG Oh My God!  stars Paresh Rawal along with Akshay Kumar and is directed by Umesh Shukla. The film, which is slated to release on September 28, is based on Umesh's popular play 'Krishan v/s Kanhaiya' that also featured Rawal in the lead role.

They say that 'Rome was not built in a day'. The same applies to Bollywood as well. Every actor worth his salt had to undergo the grind to reach the place where he is today. Well, it seems that this is the advice that Sunny Deol gave to his son Karan Deol, who has begun his preparation for Bollywood. With the famous Deol for surname, even though Karan could have had a dream debut, he chose to go the hard way. That's why Karan (who has enrolled in Rahul Rawail's acting school) has been working as an Assistant Director on Sangeeth Sivan's  Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 , because Papa Sunny wants him to understand the nuances of filmmaking in order to improve his acting skills. Besides Sunny, the film also stars Dharmendra and Bobby Deol, and will be shot in the UK for two months.

Akshay Kumar turned 45 over the weekend gone by and while he is already shooting for  Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 , there are finishing touches being given to  Khiladi 786  which would be released before the end of year. With  OMG Oh My God  all set for arrival later this month, Akshay would be a part of as many as five films this year. Still, the actor maintains that he is no mood to run any numbers game and is just happy being in the business.  "The thing is that the whole number game can turn out to be really deadly", says Akshay, "After all, I won't be in it forever and there will be a day when I would be happy to make films that just sell. So rather than me running this big chase for the rest of my career, let me run till I can.
