TBWA launches second stage of Micra campaign

TBWA India has conceptualised the second stage of communication for the Nissan Micra. Part of the campaign that was created for the launch of the Micra, these two TVCs continue to talk about the features of the car that's positioned in the B+ Segment category. Both the TVCs feature brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor. One talks about the superior turning radius of the Micra which makes it an effortless car to drive and park in the city. Along with this it also talks about the fuel consumption of the car, which makes it comfortable on the pocket too. The second TVC shows a man fumbling inside his pockets to look for his key. Ranbir Kapoor, who's an onlooker sees this, tells him about the keyless entry feature of the Micra which wouldn't require the key to open the car. He then shows the man the push start button available in the Micra, which also doesn't require a key to start. The ad goes on to show the interiors which are shown to be spacious enough

Coca-Cola launches 'Maaza Milky Delite'

Coca-Cola India has entered the dairy segment by launching a mango and milk based drink - 'Maaza Milky Delite'. For the launch of the new drink, Leo Burnett has set up a 360-degree marketing communication campaign in West Bengal, where the drink will be launched first. The campaign will consist of road shows, sampling sessions and by their presence in touch points. The nationwide launch of Maaza Milky Delite will follow soon, with a new campaign. Along with this a TVC has been shot in Bengali that brings out the tagline, 'Sharing not possible' for Maaza Milky Delite will also be aired on channels in Kolkata. Spenta Multimedia has launched Adorn, a luxury jewellery magazine. The bi-monthly magazine will feature product research and lifestyle reporting. Commenting on the launch of Adorn, Maneck Davar, proprietor, Spenta Media, said, “India has a hoary tradition of jewellery and gemstones, being the home of the famed Kohinoor. It's maharajas and royalty were renowned for their collection of jewellery, and international jewellers made pilgrimages to the courts of Indian royalty. It is a travesty that with such a history of the finest in craftsmanship, India did not have a publication to continuously chronicle and record its jewellery design capabilities. Adorn seeks to rectify this lacuna.” Adorn will be edited, designed and produced by the same team that brings out Solitaire International, a magazine made for the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council.

Reliance Broadcast Network, CBS Studios International announce JV

Reliance Broadcast Network and CBS Studios International have tied up to form an equally owned joint venture, which will see the creation of three new television channels allowing for programming rights in India.   The new joint venture company is called BIG CBS Networks Pvt. Ltd. The channels that will be launched as a part of this JV will be English entertainment channels, customised for Indian viewers. The launch for these channels is expected to be during the fourth quarter of 2010. The channels are set to telecast popular television programs from around the world like "Hawaii Five-0,” “The Defenders”  and “Blue Bloods”, “NCIS,” “Survivor,” “CSI,” “90210,” “America’s Next Top Model” and “Entertainment Tonight.” They will also draw from 70,000 hours of content from CBS's program library, including the original “Melrose Place,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Frasier,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” and “Charmed,”.   The three new English Chann

In his new role, Bahl will be in charge of the outdoor business vertical and will take charge of conceptualising and implementing new initiatives and strategies in the outdoor business. Along with this he will also look at business development and service existing clients.   Prior to this, Bahl was with Mudra Max where he was the senior vice president.
