After launching her YOGA & Fitness DVD, gorgeous beauty Lara Dutta is all set to launch her own range of designer shoes. The buzz is that the shoes' collection would be a high-end designer one including everything from ladies' casual to formal wear. Lara's soon-to-be-hubby Mahesh Bhupathi is also involved with the marketing plan for this big launch through his company Globosport. Lara is personally looking into the concepts and designs of the shoes. The shoe line is expected to be launched towards the end of this year.

We all know that Emraan Hashmi is one dude whose nickname is 'Serial-Kisser', while Neha Dhupia is someone who is the epitome of velvety soft gorgeous looks. And what happens when they both come together under one roof? Well, the answer is 'Action', which incidentally, also happens to be the brand name of a leading pair of shoes which according to ApnaDesi 's confirmed sources, has signed up Emraan Hashmi and Neha Dhupia to be signed up as the brand ambassadors. One is eagerly awaiting this pair to light up the ad world with their feet soon!

The good news is that Bollywood's original funny man Kader Khan is back in action. Kader Khan will now be seen on the TV show 'Hi Padosi... Kaun Hai Doshi?' to be aired on Sahara One channel from today. The show's all about two neighbours -- the Gujarati Hansmukh Lal Mehta and the Punjabi Harvansh Lal Mehta. On both their doors, they have nameplates reading H L Mehta, thus leading to many funny situations. After having 'Khan-quered' Bollywood, looks like Kader Khan saab is now all set to sway the viewers off their feet with his new serial. 

By now its common knowledge that Vishal Bhardwaj's Priyanka Chopra starrer Saat Khoon Maaf is based on celebrated author Ruskin Bond's short story 'Susannah's Seven Husbands.' However, what is now known is the fact that Ruskin Bond will also be seen in a cameo in the film. Ruskin confirmed about his appearance in the film during an interactive session at the ongoing Jaipur literary fest. Apparently, Bond was even actively involved while the screenplay of the film was being written.

The redoubtable Gulzar plays more than a passing muse in Madhur Bhandarkar's comedy Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji . Not only is the title of Bhandarkar's film taken from the song that Gulzar Saab wrote for Ishqiya last year, it now appears that Bhandarkar has been running from pillar to post trying to secure the rights to an old Gulzar classic song ' Koi Hota Jisko Apna Hum Apna Keh Lete Yaaron ' from the film Mere Apne . This 1971 film was Gulzar saab's first directorial undertaking. The Kishore Kumar number that Madhur Bhandarkar so wanted remains to this day one of the most beloved Kishore Kumar tracks from the 1970s. Bhandarkar apparently had to agree to desist from tampering with the song before he was given the right to use the song in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji . Bhandarkar confirms, "Yes, I've acquired the rights of Gulzar saab's song ' Koi Hota Jisko Apna ' from Mere Apne . It's one of my favourite songs written by Gulz

Almost every writer these days tells you that he's loaded with story ideas and how several scripts [with complete screenplay and dialogue] are ready to be picked up by prospective film-makers. It's like going to a grocery store, where, if you don't like a particular soft drink brand, you pick up another instead. But writer turned director Abbas Tyrewala thinks differently. Come to think of it, one would expect the skilled writer of several interesting films and also director of JAANE TU YA JAANE NA and JHOOTHA HI SAHI to be ready with a few scripts in his cabinet. But he's clueless about what he's planning to make next. "I don't work that way. I don't have a bank of scripts with me. I work on one script at a time. If it excites me, it gets made," Abbas states. Tell him that one eagerly looks forward to his next film and he replies promptly, "So am I!"

After dating for close to 3 years, actors Sameer Soni and Neelam finally got married at a function in Mumbai on Sunday.
