Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head Video

Kylie Minogue Performs on Le Grand Journal!

Pop diva Kylie Minogue stopped by French TV show Le Grand Journal on Friday. The Australian singer performed her newest single "All The Lovers" and also treated the audience with a performance of her timeless hit "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". The All The Lovers performance was good, pretty much like the ones she did in Germany and Italy, but since this time the stage was smaller the choreography could not be in full display. And I was more than excited to see her sing "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". That song never gets old for me. It's pop perfection. Ms Minogue also introduced a new choreo to the classic routine she used to do. Cool! Kylie's eleventh studio album "Aphrodite" hits stores worldwide on July 2nd.

Kelis Performs "4th Of July" on Jay Leno!

Kelis performed for the first time on US TV her new single "4th Of July" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday. The singer's latest album "Flesh Tone" will be released in the North American country on July 6th. I have no doubt Kelis' recent album will surpass this time the schockingly bad sales of her last effort "Kelis Was Here" (2006) with 58,000 sold in its debut week. Her fifth studio album is one of hottest albums so far in the year. Proof is the lead single "Acapella" reached #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs and with a little of good promo "4th of July" can do the same great chart performance and even look now for the Hot 100 chart. Kelis' performance on Jay Leno was excellent. She was donnin a summery blue dress, she got her band, her DJ, and was having a hell of a good time singing that song. Vocals were hot. Check it out.

Shakira - Waka Waka Lyrics

You're a good soldier Choosing your battles Pick yourself up And dust yourself off And back in the saddle You're on the frontline Everyone's watching You know it's serious We're getting closer This isnt over The pressure is on You feel it But you've got it all Believe it When you fall get up Oh oh... Alonso: We can't afford any slip-ups

Xabi Alonso admits his side have no room for error against Honduras after a shock defeat against Switzerland. The European champions suffered only their second loss in 49 matches, and their first ever at the hands of the Swiss, after slumping to a 1-0 loss in Durban on Wednesday. Not only was that a surprise, but it also means the Spanish, considered by many to be favourites to win the World Cup, are facing an early departure from South Africa unless they can turn things around in their next two matches. Spain's final group match is a tough-looking encounter with Chile, who beat Honduras 1-0 in their first outing, but Alonso has warned against looking beyond their next match. "We need to take it step by step. Without doubt the game against Honduras is crucial because there is no margin for error," said the Real Madrid midfielder. "Afterwards we will think more about Chile. They did very well against Honduras and are a great team." Spain take on Honduras in Johan

Emmanuel Eboue hails Eriksson effect

Image
Emmanuel Eboue has praised coach Sven-Goran Eriksson for bringing stability and organisation to the side. The Swede's more pragmatic approach was often criticised when he was in charge of England and was given even shorter shrift during his short stint at Mexico's helm. But his steadying influence is something which has been welcomed by Ivory Coast's so-called "golden generation", who have yet to win anything despite having arguably the best all-round talent on the African continent. "We are so happy to get Eriksson as our manager because now when we play we are more solid and more compact," said the Arsenal defender, who is likely to line up against Brazil in Group G on Sunday. "Our objective is to defend well first. "Every player feels very well and we've got confidence in ourselves."

Slovenia vs USA Player Ratings

Image
Colin Chong watches USA and Slovenia share the points in a match where the Americans felt hard done by. Slovenia Samir Handanovic - 6 There was nothing he could do to stop both the goals. Tough luck Samir. Miso Brecko - 7 His steaming runs forward were threatening and his clearance prevented Donovan from a simple tap in goal. Marko Suler - 4 The previous match's success must have gotten to his head as he was careless in many situations today. Bostjan Cesar - 6 Did a very good job in contrast to his defensive counterparts. Bojan Jokic - 6.5 The defender showed his experience today in defence, always calm and in control. Valter Birsa (87' off) - 7 His brilliantly taken left footed shot left Howard rooted to the spot. Robert Koren - 6.5 Very Mediocre in comparison to his last game, but he kept and distributed the ball ever so well. Aleksander Radosavljevic - 5 The midfielder barely contributed to his team's cause today. Suprising to see him play the full 90 minutes. Andraz Kir

Group C: Slovenia 2-2 United States

Image
USA came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Slovenia and blow the top of Group C wide open. Slovenia looked far from convincing in their opening game - a narrow 1-0 win over Algeria - but they proved their quality in the first half this time out and looked to be heading through to the last 16 after establishing a 2-0 lead. Valter Birsa curled home a fine opener in the 13th minute and Zlatan Ljubijankic beat the offside trap to add a second before the interval as the US struggled to handle the World Cup's smallest nation. It was a different story after the break, though, and it was one-way traffic towards the Slovenia goal from the moment Landon Donovan reduced the deficit three minutes after the break. Michael Bradley finally made the pressure pay with the equaliser eight minutes from time and Jozy Altidore had a goal ruled out soon after as the Americans pushed hard for a victory.

Germany vs Serbia Player Ratings

Image
Colin Chong rates the players in the exciting match between 10 man Germany and Serbia. Germany Manuel Neuer - 6 The poor keeper could only cheer his team on from afar as he barely had a save to make from the wasteful Serbians. Arne Friedrich - 7 Had an easy task in defence today, matching the 2.02m Zigic in the air with ease. Per Mertesacker - 6.5 For a player of his caliber, he would have to take the blame to allow Zigic the header which led to the goal. Philipp Lahm - 7 Full of hunger and drive. Rarely in his own half after the sending off as he tried to aid the forward players. Holger Badstuber (77' off) - 6 Silent performer before the wasteful substitution from his manager. Sami Khedira - 8 The Michael Ballack replacement had his thunderbolt rattle the bar on the stroke of half time. Awesome work rate from him as well. Bastian Schweinsteiger - 7 Dominated the middle of the park with his simple passes and his no nonsense tackles. Mesut Ozil (70' off) - 8 His creativity and o

Group D: Serbia 1-0 Germany

Image
Much-fancied Germany had Miroslav Klose sent off as they lost 1-0 to Serbia in 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Group D. Klose was sent off for a second bookable offence on 37 minutes - seconds before Liverpool-bound Milan Jovanovic fired the only goal of the game. And to cap an afternoon of Port Elizabeth misery for Joachim Low's men, Lukas Podolski missed a second-half penalty. Germany came into the game on the crest of a wave after that impressive 4-0 demolition of Australia last Sunday. But their hopes of victory were dashed by two first-half bookings for that man Klose. First he clipped the heels of Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic on 12 minutes, and on 37 repeated the trick by doing likewise to Dejan Stankovic. Card-happy Spanish referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco needed no invitation, dismissing Klose to German astonishment. Seconds later the misery for Low's team was compounded when they went behind as the excellent Milos Krasic crossed to the back post and Birmingham-bound Nikola Zi

Maradona focused on the present

Image
Maradona wants his team to stay focused on the job at hand rather than worry about who they may or may not meet later on in the World Cup. The South Americans took a major step towards qualification from Group B with a commanding display against South Korea on Thursday as Gonzalo Higuain scored the first hat-trick of the competition in a 4-1 win in Johannesburg. Maradona said: "We've seen my team play, we have evaluated the players, we've taken a look at what may be in store for us, but we want to concentrate and go on playing this way. "We want to follow this path. We don't want to think so much about possible opponents and other teams we could perhaps meet afterward. "I think the competition as such is important and also to have a certain competition amongst the players to see how we work as a team in the World Cup instead of looking at the other teams." Maradona, who has been criticised as a coach from several quarters during his tenure, does not shar

2010 FIFA World Cup Team™ of the day

Claudia Wong forms her team consisting of a defensive Mexican backline and a vicious attacking Argentinean force Goalkeeper: Vincent Enyeama (Country: Nigeria, Match: Nigeria 1-2 Greece) This is the second time I picked Enyeama in a week, and although Nigeria lost, his performance throughout was outstanding. His tears after the match say it all. Defence: Carlos Salcido (Country: Mexico, Match: Mexico 2-0 France) This PSV Eindhoven left back brought a wealth of experience to the pitch, resiliently defending against the French. Ricardo Osorio (Country: Mexico, Match: Mexico 2-0 France) Osorio makes a great right back to have on the team, stable, calm and solid. Francisco Rodriguez (Country: Mexico, Match: Mexico 2-0 France) A very smooth game for Rodriguez, he used his tall build and height advantage to outmuscle his opponents. Watch the fouls though! Jonas Gutierrez (Country: Argentina, Match: Argentina 4-1 South Korea) Despite the booking, he fulfilled his defending duties nonetheless.

Gerrard wants more forward role

Image
Steven Gerrard is looking forward to making an impact in a more forward role in England's World Cup clash with Algeria after the return of Gareth Barry. Gerrard was forced to drop deeper during the 1-1 draw with the United States despite scoring England's goal. But the full recovery of Barry from the ankle injury which threatened his participation in the tournament has cleared the way for the Liverpool star to venture further up the pitch. And the 30-year-old believes the return of Barry will strengthen England for the meeting with the Algerians in Cape Town. Gerrard said: "It is great to have Gareth back. He is a terrific passer of the ball, he is so calm in possession. "He gives protection to the two centre-halves if they need it and he has been fantastic for England during the past two years. "His return to the side really strengthens the starting XI." Barry played a key part in England qualifying for the finals with nine wins in 10 matches in giving Fran

England vs Algeria Preview

Image
England will be looking to put a disappointing opening showing behind them when they face Algeria in their second World Cup 2010 game on Friday. A 1-1 draw with the United States provided more questions than answers for the Three Lions and they know there is still much work to be done if they are to live up to their pre-tournament billing. Victory over Algeria would go some way to appeasing a demanding public, and give them one foot in the knockout stages, but England have made a habit of doing things the hard way down the years. If their showing against the USA is anything to go by, the 2010 World Cup could be heading in the same direction, as they allowed two priceless points to slip through their grasp. Robert Green will have relived the horror of allowing Clint Dempsey's tame shot to trickle over the line a hundred times, while a number of others on show in Rustenburg are likely to have taken a long look at themselves. A stuttering start, rather than a flying one, suggests chan
