Abu Dhabi's Police marching band performed in the main ring, while the Household Cavalry of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth made the trip to the UAE, performing its musical ride for the first time in the Emirates.

A total of 28 horses and 26 soldiers comprise the Household Cavalry's Mounted Regiment performed in their iconic British ceremonial uniform, set to music.

In 2008, Adihex attracted more than 95,000 visitors from around the world. It is organised by the Emirates Falconers' Club, supported by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.
