'Kites' to release in two versions


Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan's eagerly awaited romantic film KITES will release worldwide in Hindi and English versions on 21st May in over 60 countries. The trailer of the Hindi version will play in 1700 screens worldwide on Friday, 12th February, to coincide with Valentine's Day. The trailer of KITES' English version will be released shortly in 1000 screens.

The English version of KITES is presented and reworked by well-known Hollywood director Brett Ratner.

The story is about the character of  Rudra which is  played by Iqbal khan, This character is based on the character of Devdas who falls for Pihu (Aditi Gupta). The second female lead is Gauri ( Binny Sharma), the character based on Chandramukhi who enters his life at a later stage. . Aruna Irani is also part of this serial she would be  essaying the role of grandmother of Rudra( Iqbal Khan) . Sudha Chandran  is acting as grandmother of Gauri( Binny Sharma). Movies based on the story of Devdas has always been hit. It would be interesting to watch if the serial is able to generate the same interest  among the viewers.
