Leonardo Da Vinci's grave to be dug up?

Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci's body could be exhumed in France if Italian scholars get their way.

Scientists hope their controversial plans to dig up the artist, who died in 1519, and carry out DNA tests on his remains will help them solve a series of mysteries Da Vinci took to his grave, reported imdb.com.

These include how he died and whether or not the remains are indeed those of the Italian master.

The Italians are lobbying French officials to gain permission to excavate Da Vinci at Amboise Castle, Amboise, France.
