Video: Castle Season 4 Promo

We are still a little over a month away from the season 4 premiere of ABC's hit show Castle, but the Alphabet Network is already reminding us to tune in on September 19th. A new promo aired earlier tonight during The Bachelor Pad . While fans are happy to see a new promo of their favorite show on TV again, the clip doesn't reveal any new footage. Unless you count the one released during Comic-Con, where we got to see the very first scene of season 4.

It is pretty much a given that the first hour of season 4 - entitled "Rise" - will be very intense and emotional. The events that took place during the season 3 finale, "Knockout", have raised the stakes and I am willing to bet that things will only escalate from there. Captain Montgomery turned out to be a traitor, sacrificed his life to save Beckett's in an attempt to redeem himself and Kate was shot anyway during his funeral. As if that wasn't enough, Castle tried to save her, risking his life in the process and then confessed his love for her.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster ride, huh?

So what do we know so far?

"Rise" will pick up a few minutes after "Knockout" ended with Beckett being rushed to the hospital in critical condition. We also know that Doctor Motorcycle Boy (aka Dr. Josh Davidson aka Beckett's invisible boyfriend) and Castle will end up in an altercation - and I really hope Castle kicks his butt, however unlikely that is - in the hospital. During Comic-Con, I asked executive producer Laurie Zaks if Kate will remember that Castle said he loves her. She obviously said she couldn't answer that (hey, I had to try, right?), but she did say that now that it's out there, "you can't put the genie back in the bottle". Nathan said pretty much the same thing, so what do you make of that?
